Mumbai : A condolence meeting for the well known yakshagana artist, who passed away on 20th March is held in Bunts Sangha’s Annex Hall on 28th March, 2014.
The meeting was jointly organised by Bunts Sangha, Mumbai, Kannadiga Kalavidhara Parishat, Maharashtra and Ajekar Kalabhimaani Balaga.
CA Shankar Shetty president of Bunts Sangha Mumbai in his condolence speech said we have shocked with the loss of this great artist. This loss is not only for Bunts community but also to the entire Yakshagana.
Mundkoor Ratnakar Shetty, President of Mathrubhoomi Co.op. Credit Society other dignitaries’ of Bunts community, Yakshagana artists, well wishers of Late Chennappa Shetty spoke and expressed their condolence to this prominent Yakshagana all rounder.
Ashok Pakkala explained about the Chennappa Shetty’s contribution to the yakshagana and compared this condolence meeting.
