Mumbai: Security has been beefed up in Mumbai’s iconic Taj Hotel and at the city’s domestic and international airports, after an airport manager received a call informing him of a terror threat, according to reports.

The airport manager was on duty in the late hours of Monday when he received a call from an unknown person who warned that bomb blasts would take place in both the domestic and international airports and in the Taj hotel that was earlier attacked by Pakistani terrorists in 2008.

According to sources the caller allegedly told the manager that he had overheard a conversation, which included a plan to attack the three locations in the country’s financial capital.

Following the call, the locations were put on high alert and security was heightened in the locations. However, the management of the Taj Hotel has not made any official statement on the incident yet.
