All efforts are being made by senior leaders to ‘sort out’ the differences in the Janata Dal (Secular) here. It has been decided to form a core committee, comprising senior leaders, to take major decisions as national party president H.D. Deve Gowda and his deputy H.D. Kumaraswamy are being accused of taking “arbitrary” decisions.
Senior party leader M.C. Nanaiah, who expressed his reservation over organisational matters recently, met Mr. Deve Gowda here on Saturday and discussed issues pertaining to strengthening the party. Later, he said “it has been decided to form a core committee in the next 10 days, and the committee’s decision will be final on any issue.”
