Bangalore : The latest news is that after much dilemma and confusion, Sandalwood actor turned politcianAmbareesh has finally been shifted to a hospitalin Singapore for further treatment.
The actor, who was admitted to hospital after complaining of chest pain and breathing trouble, was being treated at Vikram Hospital in Bangalore. However, despite some improvement in his breathing, his lungs are still weak. This lack of imporvement might have prompted Ambareesh’s family to decide on taking him to Singapore.
After much contemplation, the doctors in Bangalore seem to have given Ambareesh the green signal to fly to Singapore for treatment. Reports suggest that the actor will be undergoing treatment in Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. The actor was apparently flown to Singapore early today morning.
According to sources in Vikram Hospital and sources close to Ambareesh, he will be airlifted to Singapore at 3.30 am on Saturday. Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader had sought the Union government’s opinion about shifting Ambareesh to a Singapore hospital.
Tamil superstar Rajnikanth who visited Ambareesh on Friday had advised Sumalatha Ambareesh to shift him to Singapore.
The condition of 61-year-old Ambareesh is said to be improving. His level of consciousness and hemodynamics are improving. His ventilator parameters are stable and the process of weaning is being continued, according to Vikram Hospital doctors.
“His condition is being continuously monitored by a team of doctors, in consultation with experts,” they added.
