Bangalore, Nov 17, 2013, DHNS: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and State Congress chief G Parameshwara are going to be in Delhi on Monday to attend a review meeting to be chaired by Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.

The meeting, scheduled at 3 pm, will take stock of the developments in the party in the state in the last three months.

The last review meeting was held some three months ago. The party’s preparations for the Lok Sabha elections will be the focus of the meeting,  sources in the party said.

There will be no review of the performance of the Siddaramaiah government as such, the sources said.

The high command has drawn nearly 15 legislators including five ministers for campaigning in the states which are facing Assembly elections.

Meanwhile, talking to reporters at Yelburga in Koppal district, Siddaramaiah said the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s dream of making it big in the national politics would never materialise. The BJP has spent around Rs 25 crore for the Modi rally held in Bangalore on Sunday.

Around one lakh people had attended the meeting and it would not make any impact, the chief minister claimed.
