Bangalore, October 19: The city police on Saturday filed the chargesheet relating to the April 17 Malleswaram bomb blast in the First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court.
The chargesheet lists 14 suspects including Panna Ismail, Bilal Malik and Police Fakruddin who were arrested by the Tamil Nadu police at Puttur on October 5.
The chargesheet was filed after examining 260 witnesses and is in three volumes with 7,445 pages of material, amassing 201 documents. The police said that 18 persons were injured while 23 vehicles and 56 buildings were damaged due to the blast, resulting in a loss of approximately Rs. 50 lakh.
