BANGALORE: The body of a 50-year-old businessman who went missing from his house on Haralur Road, HSR Layout, was found early on Wednesday morning.
Police said Kodandarama Reddy, a realtor and owner of several brick kilns, was missing since June 24. “His family said he went out as usual for his business and hasn’t returned home since then. His decomposed body, parts of which were charred beyond recognition, were found on the outskirts of Hosur in Tamil Nadu,” said a police officer.
Police suspect a business rival may have kidnapped Reddy and later murdered him. “Some of his business acquaintances have been called for questioning. How he was abducted and taken to Hosur is still not known,” a police officer said.
DCP (southeast) TD Pawar said he’s yet to get details of the case.
