Mangalore, September 9: Today morning at 9.35 a.m, a car made its way off from the parking zone and landed down on the stairs. The incident occurred at Mallikatte Junction of the city.
The Car happened to enter the cellar of the Selma Arcade building which housed two shops. The car’s rear end rammed into the rolling shutters of Tasvi Hotel. The hotel had remained closed since it was early morning.
The car was parked by its owner Dr Shridhar, a resident of bunts hostel. He had parked the car in front of the building and had been on a morning walk. He was upset to find that the car had disappeared from its place and had suspected that the car might have been robbed. When he reached the spot he was shocked to find that the car had moved accidentally from its place by itself even though the vehicle was parked properly.
Suppose the vehicle had entered the building post morning, danger was awaited since it would have landed inside the hotel. Minor damage to the building, shutter and the rear end of car was seen.
Traffic police have visited the spot and filed a case.
