Bejai, September 6: A crane turned turtle close to Kadri hills road in Bejai during the wee hours on Saturday, September 6th.
It is reported that the crane which was heading towards the Museum road faced a break-failure and was about to knock a parked Omni vehicle close to an apartment. In order to avoid crashing with the car, the crane driver landed up in collision with a feeder close by. As an outcome, the crane toppled.
It is learnt that the driver has fled from the spot. Traffic jam was observed due this incident.
The Sub-Inspector of Kadri Station Mr Nagraj has inspected the spot and a case has been filed.
