Mangalore, Aug 8, 2014: On August 8th , Friday; at Kallaup a Verna Car crashed against the iron railing which was erected close to the Netravathi Bridge on the National Highway 66 .The incident occurred during the minute hours of the day and the front portion of a car was badly garbled.
The driver had suddenly lost control over the Verna car, was on his way to Kasargod from Mangalore. The mishap happened due to the negligence of the car driver. The car would have run down into the river if the railing had not been erected, which proved lucky for the driver.
Complaint has not been lodged till now .Information pertaining to the owner of the car is unavailable.
