Respect the language , never disrespect: Minister Abhay Chandra Jain

Polali: We should love any language ,but it should’nt be blind. Sometimes blind love towards a language hurts the feelings of border residents. We should take an initiative regarding this –said the state’s Fishery’s & Youth’s minister Mr Abhay Chandra Jain.

Honouring the Chairman Dr.K.P.Rao at  the closing day of 19th Kannada Sahitya Sammelana  & addressing the audience he said , protecting Kannada language should be done with great care & hospitality. The govt has sanctioned Rs1 crore to protect Kannada language & its heritage. Praising Dr K. P. Rao for his work on literature he said , it would be brought to the attention of the government.

Mumbai is alert towards its culture. Marati literature is confident that even if there is any accident ,the very next moment it will recupe. Marati literature doesn’t affect Kannada literature. He made it clear that there shouldn’t be any confusion regarding this also spoke about the history of Polali.

It should be decided by the govt weather to retain the language based schools or not. Maharashtra Govt has thought about retaining the language in English medium schools. This methodology should be developed by our govt too.. . To retain Kannada medium schools , the syllabus has to be revised so that Kannada & Hindi can be learnt  along with English said the senior author Dr. Sunitha M. Shetty during her speech on the closing day of the conference. Chief General Manager Mr M .S. Mahabhaleshwar Baht released the memento. Polali Jayarama Bhat Was honoured in the conference.

Chairperson of the conference Prof. K. P. Rao , the District’s  incharge minister Mr Ramanath Rai , Vidhian Parishat member Captian Ganesh Karnik , Ex-Minister Padnabha Kottari, District’s Kasapa chairman Pradeep Kumar Kalkura attended the conference .Kasargod District’s  Kasapa chairman S.V.Bhat  ,taluk Kasapa chairman Dr B. Yashovarma Belthangady , Dr Varadaraja Chandragiri Puttur , Meenakshi Gowda Sullia , Jayananda peraje Bantwal, Vijayalakshmi B.Shetty Mangalore  were in the conference. K Mohan welcomed the conference .Vote of thanks was delivered by Venkatesh Nawada. The conference was  hosted by Ms Manjula Shetty & was organised by Balakrishna Master Ammunje .

Parents do not send their siblings to the schools where there is a lack of teaching faculties. So appoint a teacher to a class, then there would’nt be a chance to close  Kannada medium schools otherwise Kannada medium schools have to be shut down said the State’S kasapa ex-chairman Mr Harikrishna Punarooru. Ammunje student Kum Vinaya was honoured for securing 100 out of 100 in Kannada.
