Mangalore, July 30: A woman from Panjimogeru was found murdered at her house here on Wednesday July 30. The suspicion is that her husband has murdered her, as he is absconding.
The deceased has been identified as Annapoorna (32), wife of Fakeerayya (40) from Koppal.
On Wednesday morning, the murder came to light. It is said that the family opens the main door of the house every morning, but on Wednesday, the door remain closed. Growing suspicious, the neighbours went to check, and on looking through the window, saw Annapoorna lying frozen.
Blood stains and marks were found on the neck and the stomach of the deceased, indicating that she might have been stabbed. The motive behind the murder is yet to be known.
A case has been registered by Kavoor police, who arrived at the spot and are conducting further investigations.
