Mangalore, May 1:Addresing the media persons in the press meet held at congress party election office on May 1,Wednesday Ibrahim Kodijal,interim president, district congress committee announced in his speech that Oomen Chandy,chief minister, Kerala would be arriving to Mangalore on May,2,Thursday for assembly election campaign.
He further said that Chandy, after attending student’s interaction meet, organized at city’s Sahodaya auditorium at 9.30 a m, will have an interaction session with the students and thereafter he will hold a press club at congress election office, Mangalore south constituency, he explained
Thereafter he will visit B.C.Road election office, Bantwal constituency and deliver a speech on behalf of party workers. At 2.00 p m, he will attend election campaign rally at Belthangadi organized by the party workers, Kodijal said.
After attending election campaign in Kadaba at 4.00 p m, he will also attend election campaign in Derelakatte at 6.00 p m and will return to Kerala thereafter.
Local and state leaders will accompany him on this occasion, he informed.
P T Thomas, Kerala MLC and AICC election superintendent, Ivan D’souza-Chief secretary, former Mayor Ashraf, U K Monu,Suresh,Ashish,Harshad Varkadi among others were present.
