Mangalore, July 26: A car went out of control and plunged about 10 feet off the road near Kallapu, close to Netravati bridge on Friday July 25. Luckily the three persons in the car escaped with minor injuries.
A young man and two girls, all students of a private medical college at Deralakatte, were driving towards Mangalore in an Innova car, when the accident took place. When they reached near the Netravati bridge, the youth who was driving the car lost control of the vehicle and it plunged about 10 feet off the road. The car is completely damaged.
On account of the accident, traffic on the highway was affected for about an hour. Ullal police arrived at the spot and cleared the gridlock. The students got medical attention and are reported to be safe.
