Modi to address public meet in Mangalore on May, 2

Mangalore, April 29: Addressing the media reporters in the press meet held at district BJP office on April 29, Monday MP Nalin Kumar informed that Gujarat Chief minister Narendra Modi would visit city and address a mammoth  public meeting at Nehru Maidan scheduled to be held on May 2, Thursday at 10.00 a.m.

As Modi himself evinced an interest to come down to Mangalore after attending election campaign in Bangalore, Nalin Kumar said in his speech that Modi’s visit itself an answer to the question raised by congress leaders.

Nalin Kumar said that Modi will arrive by special flight to Mangalore from Ahmadabad and address the big public meeting at 10.30 a.m.at city’s Nehru Maidan.

All the state level BJP leaders will participate in the meeting along with BJP workers from all the eight constituencies in the district, it said.The intention of the convention is to attract youth voters in all eight constituences,he said

He further stated that Varun Gandhi,BJP,MP had already participated in public meetings at Bantwal and Moodbidri and  central leaders like Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj were here recently ,who descended into the city from Delhi in connection with election campaign and to attend press meet.

Capt.Ganesh Karnik,Pratap Simha Nayak,Nithin Kumar,Shrikar Prabhu,Rajgopal Rai were present in the meet.
