Mangalore, June 12: A compound wall crashed down into a house causing injuries to 2 sisters at HS Nagar, Kannur during the early hours of June 12, Thursday.
The sisters Sunaina (18) and Shamashad (16) were injured when a wall of the house caved in and fell over them. The accident took place at around 2.30 am, the two siblings and other family members were fast asleep.
As the house was located in an interior area, the girls had to be virtually carried for nearly half a kilometer up to the main road before taking them in a vehicle to Wenlock Hospital.
Local Corporator Sudhir Shetty and other MCC officials visited the spot.
