Mangalore, May 26: Amrit Paul took charge of his office as Inspector General Police (IGP) of western range here on Monday May 26.
Amrit Paul, IPS, was welcomed at the IGP office at Pandeshwar with a guard of honour in the presence of city police commissioner R Hitendra, superintendent of police Sharanappa S D and other officials.
“Peace should prevail in the coastal districts. I will work for the betterment of the place I am in charge of,” said Amrit Paul on the occasion.
