Hindu outfits hold massive protest demanding dismissal of Cong-led State Govt

Mangalore, May 12: The VHP and Bhajarangadal members staged a massive protest in front of the deputy commissioner’s office on May 12, Monday, urging Siddaramaiah led State Congress government to dismiss its unconstitutional administration.

Addressing the protestors, Surya Narayana state convener of Bajrang Dal said that the congress led government is haunting the state like cancer, which is trying to evade all the saffron groups in the state.

He also said that Congress government is anti-Hindu policies such as withdrawal of anti-cow slaughter bill and encouraging illegal cattle trafficking. They treat Hindus as third-class citizens, in order to appease the Muslims.

The congress government had introduced various schemes which are biased to one particular religion including Shaadi Bhagya scheme and providing grants Muslims for Hajj pilgrimage.

He condemned the government and congress leaders for conducting assaults on Hindutva leaders and booking them under false cases.

VHP member Jitendra Kottary demanded the government to implement anti cow-slaughter bill in the state and condemned the decision of declaring Rs 10 lakhs as compensation to Kabeer, who was killed in an encounter.

VHP leaders M B Puranik and Jagadish Shenava, Hindu Jagrana Vedike leader Satyajit Suratkal, Bajrang Dal leader Sharan Pumpwell, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, BJP leader Nagesh Shetty and others were present.

Prior to the protest, the members took out a mass rally from Ambedkar Circle to deputy commissioner’s office.
