Mangalore, April 10: A person named Dathatraya (27) is imprisoned as he is the prime accused in the case where Bharati builder’s office was subject to shootout on March 10. Mangalore police have trapped Dathatraya in Mumbai on Wednesday, April 9.
In Mumbai, Ganesh Laxman Saketh and Mukesh Shivaji have been booked, pistol and bike used for the crime have been seized. Ganesh and Hitesh from Haleyangadi have also been booked for getting involved in the case.
It is being found that the threat calls were made by Antony Kumar, Abubakar Siddique, Nithin Kumar and Guru Prasanna who are the subordinates of Ravi Poojari. They have been booked and police have informed that any threat calls received should be reported immediately and nobody should help these criminals in any issue, such persons will be detained, they said.
Police commissioner R. Hitendra, DCP Dr. Jagadish, Vishnuvardhan N, Velentine D’souza, Chandrashekar, Ravishankar, Sharif, Venugopal and other police personnel have successfully completed the operation.
