Bantwal, Mar 25: CH Lakshminarayana Bhat (59), Chief Auditor of NMPT killed in a tragic road mishap, when his Maruti 800 car rolled into a ravine at Padekallu in Karopady village on March 24, Monday.
The incident took place when Bhat was returning to Mangalore after visiting his ancestral home located at Padekallu on March 22.
It is learnt that Bhat’s car rolled off the mud road and fell into a ravine just a little distance away from his home. Bhat’s servant Krishna who noticed the car, asked others for help, but he breathed his last by then.
A case has been registered in this regard.
