Bejai shoot-out: Police arrests two associates of Ravi Poojari in Maharashtra

Mangalore, Mar 25: The police have arrested two associates of underworld don Ravi Poojary in Maharashtra, wanted in connection with the recent shoot-out at Bharathi Builders and Developers office located at Bejai.

The arrested are identified Ganesh (26) of Saketh in Maharashtra and Mukhesh (26), son of Shivaji Kamble of Satara in Maharashtra.

The team of officials led by assistant commissioner of police attached to city central subdivision under the guidance of Mangalore city Police Commissioner R Hithendra have arrested the two in Maharastra and seized motor cycle, a pistol and three rounds of ammunition from the duo.

The team comprising of city crime branch inspector K Tilakchandra, Urwa police station inspector Valentine D’Souza, police sub-inspector R B Maledevar, Barke sub-inspector of police Ravishankar,  and others were participated in the arrest operation.

It is learnt that Police have even arrested Anand Kumar alias Anto of Hongasandra in Bangalore, a henchman of underworld dons Ravi Poojari and Kali Yogish, who was providing information about builders in Mangalore.
