Mangalore, Mar 11: Former Deputy Chief Minister K S Eshwarappa paid a visit to Mangalore District Jail and met the arrested BJP activists arrested during the recent Kalladka clash.
Eshwarappa, who arrived city on March 11, Tuesday morning gave his first visit to jail to meet the arrested BJP activists and later spoke to the jailor at his office. But, when the media asked about his discussion with the jailor, he refused to reveal their and said to give the information in the press meet and went to Kalladka to console the family members of arrested and victims of attack.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik, former minister B Nagaraj Shetty, state working member Srikar Prabhu, party office bearers Sulochana GK Bhat, Rajesh Ulepady and others were present.
