Commenting on the statement given by home minister during his visit to Mangalore, that visit of Swamiji’s to Ullal is politically motivated, but it cannot be considered as serious statement, since It is the duty of Hindu religious heads to visit the houses of victims belonging to their community and render their support. The Swamijis have a responsibility towards society and bigger responsibility towards the Hindu society, he added.

One of the victims, Dhanyavati said that around 1.45 am, a man in guise of girl accompanied by a man wearing a coat knocked the door of the house. Thinking the people are back after fishing to home, she opened the door. But the duo pulled out a boy out of the house and thrashed him. Hence he pleaded to provide protection to live in peace.
