Mangalore, Feb 10: The Central Market merchants once again tried to evacuate the street hawkers who have occupied the road for running their business illegally, near market on February 9, Sunday.
The police officials along with the team had to enter the situation, when the quarrel between the two groups led by market merchants and hawkers commenced.
According to the market merchants, the street vendors are not ready to occupy the vacant space inside the market to run their business by paying the rent, but prefer to continue their business on the footpaths, hitting their business and causing a huge loss to them.
