Mangalore, Feb 8: A fire mishap destroys a house located near Mangaladevi causing a loss of over Rs 2 lakhs on February 8, Saturday evening.
The houses belonged to Kasturi gutted in fire, finding no reason for the cause of mishap.
It is learnt that house owner Kasturi had another house from a month for the preparation of her daughter’s marriage scheduled to be held in Puttur on February 9, Sunday.
During the time of incident the entire family residing at the new rented house, where the function was to be held and were luckily escaped from the incident.
The fire fighting personnel’s reached the spot in two fire engines and managed to douse the fire.
Pandeshwar police have registered a case.
