Narendra Modi to address Mangalore voters at Nehru Maidan on Feb 18

Mangalore, Jan 28: BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will visit Mangalore and participate in the rally scheduled at Nehru Maidan on February 18 at 3 pm, said BJP MLC Bhanuprakash.

Addressing the press meet held at District BJP office on Jan 2, Tuesday, he said that Congress has insulted Modi by giving a statement that tea seller cannot become PM. This coming election will prove that even a Tea seller become the PM and rule the country peacefully more than present PM.

Bhanuprakash said that BJP will announce the list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections by February 5 – Feb 6. The BJP activists have started the campaigning for the coming election from January 15 and distributing three pamphlets including Narendra Modi’s vision, BJP’s success and scams and failure of Congress.

He also said that Booth level agents (BLAs) who are assigned in the election booth must also vote with others. BLAs must examine the voters’ list, address and booth numbers before the elections. Nursery school teachers, city corporation officers and others are assigned as BLA’s, while the government staffs must not be assigned.  Every booth will have a booth level officer (BLO), he said.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, BJP district president Pratap Simha Nayak, unit general secretary Sanjeev Matandoor, BJP state vice president Sulochana Bhat, Divakar Samani, Satish Prabhu and others were present.
