Mangalore, Jan 28: VHP leader Jagadish Shenava accused police officials of committing atrocities on a Bhajrangdal activist, who was arrested on the charges attack on a youth at KC Road near Ullal recently.
Speaking at the press meet on Jan 28, Tuesday, he said that Bhajrangdal activist Manoj Kumar was arrested for attacking a youth at KC Road was assaulted in the station by police who were in the drunken status. He also said that the police had even given shock treatment to Manoj.
He also said that opposing such atrocities by the police, the Bhajrangdal and VHP will stage protest in front of DC office on February 23demanding to take action against the police personnel’s for such act.
Gopal Kuttar, Bhujanga Kulal and others were present.
