Mangalore : “More than -ism’s creation of jobs is the only way to eradicate poverty. I have seen communism, capitalism and socialism, but I believe that creating employment opportunities will develop a Nation. An unfortunate incident that happened did not bow down the confidence of the management of Primacy Industries who took it up as challenge the rebuild the factory. I appreciate the spirit, confidence and hard work”, said Narayan Murthy, Executive Chairman, Infosys.
He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the rebuilt facility of Primacy Industries ltd at Baikampady on Wednesday, January 15.
“Primacy has taken into consideration the life of those who are employed with the organization. I consider this to be an extraordinary occasion, an event that demonstrated the power, courage and concern for the society. The concern the management has towards the family of the 850 employees is highly appreciable” he added.
A lesson for Corporate Sector
“It is spirit, confidence and hard work that are the guiding lessons for all those involved in corporate sector. Any industry needs a large dose of confidence when it is down. More than import, the export must be enhanced. Only then employment opportunities will be generated. The ‘Can-Do’ spirit will revive the economy. If India wants to get back on growth, then the export must supersede the imports. Only then we will be able to achieve 9 per cent GDP” added Narayan Murthy.

M.Narendra, Chairman &MD, Indian Overseas Bank congratulated the team at Primacy and appreciated the leadership of T.Gautham Pai. He was all praises for the Chairman whose farsightedness was responsible for transforming Primacy into what it is today. Primacy industry has showcased the sense of social responsibility ,he added. “It is tough time that will reveal who the closest ones are. It is the commitment and the hard work of all those who are involved in Primacy industries that needs to be appreciated. A year ago, when the entire team was working in make shift office the team assured that they will deliver within a year. By next five months the set up was ready and within a year’s time the rebuilt facility is ready. Believing reduces half the job. The team believed that we will be able to deliver within a year’s time. V K Thalithaya’s leadership needs to be recognized. My special thanks to Syndicate bank who have helped and supported us in times of crisis” said T Gautham Pai, Chairman, Primacy Industries Ltd. He also said that past experiences will help Primacy grow and emerge stronger.
