KZCT presents scholarship to needy and meritorious Muslims students

Mangalore, Dec 25, 2013: Karnataka Zakat and Charitable Trust (KZCT) holds scholarship distribution ceremony for the meritorious and deserving Muslim students of PUC and degree courses at Loyola Hall, St Aloysius College on Tuesday, December 24.

Speaking as the chief guest, Naseem Akhtar, IAF air commodore and director of Hyderabad Institute of Excellence said that KZCT is working to shape the future of meritorious students to pursue their education and reach their goal.

He also said that the youths who have been taking the scholarship will be the future leaders, builders, engineers, doctors and others and run the nation with pride. Further they must take responsibility to get job and help other poor students, he said.

Khalil Ahmed, chairman, Karnataka Zakat and Charitable Trust (KZCT) said that KZTC is organizing Scholarship distribution programme for the 4th year and have distributed scholarship to 7,000 students so far.

The scholarships were distributed to Students who secured 90% and above, orphans scoring 60% and above, and physically challenged scoring 35% and above in PUC.

Iqbal Academy vice-president Ziauddin Nayyar, former minister B A Moideen and others were present.
