Mangalore, Dec 24: B M Dharmendra Amin (40), a veteran Tulu theatre artiste and part of Lakumi drama troupe, passed away due to cardiac arrest while perfoming on stage in Chiragoli at Uppala, Kasargod in the wee hours of Tuesday December 23.
Dharmendra was performing in Tulu drama ‘Ellya Vishaya Mallamanpochi’ .He complained of sudden chest pain and collapsed. He was rushed to hospital by his colleagues but breathed his last on the way.
B M Dharmendra was conferred with the title ”Nata Bhyrava” for his immense contribution to Tulu theatre.
He is survived by his mother, wife, and one-year-old child and other family members.
