Karkala; Dec 22: Inaugurating the national service programme’s (NSS) special camp, organized in Kabbinaale Konkanarabettu school premises on Dec 21, Saturday by Hiriadka government first Grade College,Vinaya Kumar Sorake,minister for urban development and district in charge said that in student’s community to increase national integration, patriotism, the national service programme will help. With the partnership of locals and co-operation of students, let this camp become a model, said minister

He further said that Mangalore University has bagged first place in national service programme and this will give new spirit to the NSS activities in undivided Dakshina Kannada colleges. Therefore he suggested the organizer of this camp to hold this camp meaningfully along with the people of rural region.

Vinaya Kumar Sorake, who visited Kabbinaale for the first time has been congratulated and an appeal has been submitted to minister to take suitable action to prevent wild animals menace, one of the prominent problems of the village.

College principal Dr.Padekallu Vishnu Bhat has presided over the function.H.Raghurama Somayaji, retired director of education department, has given guidance in his speech.

District panchayat member M.Manjunatha Poojary, K.Chandrashekara Baayari, former panchayat president, school headmaster Prakash Lavgaonkar, Gujarat entrepreneur Manoj.C.Poojary, Rajesh Shetty, camp official was present.
