Kasargod, Dec 19: Manjeshwar police arrested a black magician 38-year-old Ramachandra from Uppala Aila for allegedly sexually harassing a 15-year-old girl on Wednesday December 18.
It has been learnt that the father of the girl was employed as a cook at the ashram in Uppala, where the girl was also employed later on. It is known that Ramachandra sexually harassed the girl in the ashram since the last six months.
As the incident came to light, a group of people barged into the ashram and vandalised the place. They damaged chairs, broke window panes and even damaged a car.
The Manjeshwar police have booked 30 persons for vandalism on the basis of a complaint lodged by the black magician.
