Kasargod, Dec 8: A man basically from Uduma of Kasargod was found brutally murdered in Al Rashidiya, Dubai on Friday Dec. 6.
The deceased has been identified as Haneef (32), a resident of Uduma. The incident recorded in CCTV cameras.
Rs 10 lac in cash, telephone cards and passports of several people were said to be stolen by the culprits.
Haneef was working at a restaurant run by a person from Kannur. On Friday, while the other employees in the restaurant left for their homes, Haneef stayed behind. An unidentified person entered the restaurant and dragged Haneef outside, and with the help of two accomplices, killed him before fleeing the spot.
The police have obtained CCTV images of the culprits. The investigation is in progress.
Haneef had been working in the restaurant for the past one-and-a-half years.
