Mangalore, Nov. 30: D.K. Zilla Rajyotsava Awardee NRI Rtn. Elias Sanctis was felicitated by R.C. Mangalore Central at a glittering function held at Eden Club on Nov. 29th.
Rtn. Rajgopal Rai in his presidential address recalled the selfless/yeomen services rendered by NRI Rtn. Elias Sanctis for the welfare of the community and said that he has been deservingly conferred with the prestigious Dist Rajotsava Award. Rtn. Dr. Devdas Rai in his felicitation address revealed that the award has been presented to him in recognition and in appreciation of his invaluable and significant contributions to the development of the society and added that he has earned laurels and glory to the Rotary Club by winning the coveted award and has made Rotarians proud and wished him all success in his journey ahead. Secretary Rtn. Santhosh Shet presented a brief report of the club activities. Replying to the felicitation Rtn. Elias Sanctis expressed his gratitude to the Rotary Club and thanked all the Rotarians for their gesture. Later he released the Club’s weekly Bulletin ‘Centor’.
On this occasion Past Zilla Rajyotsava Awardee, Past Dist Governor Rtn. Dr. Devdas Rai was also felicitated in recognition of his valuable contributions to the Rotary movement. John Bipin Raj Rai and John Sachin Raj Rai were also honoured who have excelled in the sports field. Rotarians, Anns, Annets and Johns who participated in the Rotary Dist Cultural Meet and Sports were also recognised and congratulated on this occasion.
Charter President Rtn. Premnath Kudva, Past President Rtn. Dr. Sureshchandra Shetty, Rtn. Dr. Madhusudhan Upadhya, Rtn. Manjunath Revankar, Vice President Rtn. Naveen Kille, P.R.O. Rtn. M.V.
