Session’s court of Puttur pronounced Ramesh Naik as guilty for murdering his children, in-laws

Puttur, Nov 27: The fifth additional session’s court on Tuesday November 26 pronounced Ramesh Naik, a resident of Panaje Ardhamule as guilty of murdering his mother-in-law, sister-in-law and his two children in 2010 and it will announce the punishment on December 7th.

When the incident took place he was working as a manger at nationalised bank in Sholapur, Maharashtra, he was with his mother-in-law, sister-in-law. His wife Sundari was working for a bank in Mangalore and she was living with her children.

In 2010, Ramesh Naik came to Mangalore and taken his children Bhuvan and Krithika to Panaje Puttut. Then he pushed both the children to the pond.

He also confessed to murdering his mother-in-law Saraswati and sister-in-law Savita in Tumkur. It is said that on June 14, Naik, he fought with Saraswati and her 35-year-old daughter Savita, and murdered both of them and dumped their body into a water tank of the house.Their bodies were recovered later.

Ramesh Naik had looked after his sister-in-law since many years, and was planning to arrange her marriage. But Savita, who was employed in Bangalore, was involved in a love affair with another man, which Ramesh opposed. Ramesh was enraged at this development, and murdered Savita and her mother after a heated exchange of words. He then came to Mangalore on June 16, took his children to Panaje and drowned them.

They found the all the witness of the murders. Total witness is 18. Wife Sundari and Ithappa was the main witnesses.
