Kateel, Nov. 25: The famous Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has visited Kateel Shree Durgaparameshwari temple when she came to Mangalore to take part in the private programme on Sunday, November 24.
Addressing the media, at Kateel temple Shilpa Shetty said that Kudlad’dh bega poyere itthnd. Aanda Kateel deverna aashirvada bodu and’dh nette batthini,” (Had to depart to Mumbai from Mangalore itself. However, I wanted to seek the blessings of the Kateel Goddess. Hence I landed here).
Speaking about her childhood, her father said, “Shilpa was born in Mudaladi near Niddodi. She is a local. She belongs to this place.”
The celebrity family, who were supposed to visit their ancestral house in Mudaladi and later to Dharmsthala, cancelled the plans for undisclosed reasons. They then left to Bajpe airport in order to board a Mumbai flight.
