Byndoor: Rs 3 crore worth facilities distributed to 4775 benefactors

Kundapur; Nov 08: After inaugurating the government’s various facilities distribution ceremony, organized jointly by district administration Udupi zilla and zilla panchayat Udupi on Nov 08, Friday morning at Thrasi Annappayya auditorium for Byndoor and Vandse hobali benefactors, Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development said in his speech that government service are meant for people’s service and for the betterment of the people. In order to reach these facilities to the common man authorities are taking predominant roles. Only when authorities are exercising their roles to reach the facilities to the people, then only it is possible, the prosperity of the society, he said.




He further said that the new government, by providing good, efficient and transparent governance, has made the people to feel change in the state. This way, by discharging the duties of reaching the people, government has been recognized as the pro-people’s government.





Chief Minister as he promised goes on implementing so many projects for the benefits of the poor, farmers and has become a reliable and popular chief minister. This way by distributing the facilities after reaching the people, not only their problem of running pillar to post will be reduced but also they will come to know what government is doing for the benefit of the people. These facilties should be made available to many more people.




He also said that in order to avail facilities to more people, many such programmes are being conducted in different places of the state.



In this programme a total of 4775 benefactors of this hobali were given facilities worth Rs two crore ninety one lac and seventy eight thousand two hundred fourteen. He appreciated the efficiency, dedication and efforts of the authorities, who made this, programme possible and a grand success.

Zilla panchayat vice President Upendra Nayak, vice president Mamatha R Shetty, Kundapur taluk panchayat president Deepika.S.Shetty, Kundapur tahsildar Gayathri Nayak, Raju Poojary and among others were present.



On the occasion Vandse and Byndoor hobali’s forest department, women and children welfare,revenue,food,panchayatrj,corporation,agricultural department, backward welfare,health,complete scheduled tribes welfare,husbandry,horticultural department related various projects,4775 benefactors  were given facilities, worth Rs two crore,ninety one lac seventy eight thousand and two hundred fourteen.

Kundapur taluk sub -divisional officer Yogeeshwara spoke comprehensively on the occasion.Thippeswamy welcomed the gathering, Seetharama Shetty, Akshara Dasoha official compered the programme, taluk panchayat managing director Gopala Shetty proposed vote of thanks.
