Bantwal, Nov 7: RSS leader Dr Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat has hoped that the CBI investigation into the Sowjanya rape and murder case would clear all doubts in public minds regarding the case.
Addressing the reporters at Kalladka on Wednesday Nov. 6, he said let Lord Manjunatha of Dharmasthala ensure that the investigation officials ensure justice to Sowjanya and her family,” he said.
He further said that it is a tragedy that the authorities have not even subjected the accused to inquiry despite pressure mounting from various quarters.
Kalladka Bhat at the same time took strong exception to the failure of the authorities to interrogate all the suspects in the case until now.
He said the culprits whoever they are must get the strictest punishment in order to ensure that such heinous acts are not repeated.
“Let the money and muscle power not affects the CBI probe. It would be incorrect if the politicians, religious heads and officials take this case lightly.
Bhat said as a doctor he too cannot believe that the lone person arrested might have committed the act and suspected that it might be the handiwork of at least three to four persons.” I have great faith in Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala,” Bhat said adding” when allegations were heard against Heggade’s family he should have allowed impartial probe. He should at least now take the right step forward to clear doubts in public minds, Bhat said.
