  1. I am an NRI who is very familiar with Ujire and the sorroundings. I have been reading about this unfortunate case and quite deeply hurt. What surprises me the most is the response of CM Siddaramiah. I consider him as an able CM who passionately cares about the common man. We have seen that on numerous occasions, especially in his fight against Belllary mine scandals. I just cannot believe that after all these, the evidence tampering by the corrupt and inefficient local police, that he will still use the Katnataka CID. He must act immediately. At this point of time no one will fully believe the CID report. The DNA evidence has probably been destroyed already. This issue must be raised in the Parliament no matter what. Special laws must be passed to give mandatory minimum sentence for cases like this. We all have mothers, sisters and daughters. Dear CM Siddaramiah, the people’s CM and a crusader for social justice, please speak up.
