Kasargod, Oct. 25: A village officer of Adoor in Kasargod district is arrested in a bribery case.
The officer named Anil Kumar was caught by the Vigilance Squad officials while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 1000 from Farooq Tangal who had applied for the preparation of a sketch of his land.
Farooq had earlier lodged a complaint with the Vigilance Squad which is led by K Damodaran, DySP.
The accused has been produced before the court.
