Mangalore, Oct 3: Two persons were killed on the spot in an accident at Deralakatte here on Thursday October 3.
The deceased have been identified as Mahesh Gatty (26) and Lakshman (30), both residents of Konaje. The accident took place near Ayyappa Swamy Temple Deralakatte. Sources said that Mahesh was working as accountant in Mangalore and Lakshman as electric maintenance at Axis bank, Mangalore.
The two were on their way to Mangalore from Konaje. The mishap took place when the Honda Activa hit against the bike.
Due to the hit both were thrown off from the two-wheeler. At that instant, a lorry which was passing by ran over them, killing them on the spot.
The MP of Mangalore Nalin Kumar Kateel visited to the house of the deceased.
Konaje police have registered a case.
