Udupi; Sept 17: Addressing the media reporters in the press meet held on Sept 17, Tuesday, at Udupi, Deve Gowda, former prime minister and national president of JDS said in his speech that JDS will not run the politics in the name of caste and religion.
He brushed aside a question on BJP’s PM nominee Narendra Modi and said, “As far Modi is concerned, I do not want to rate him. My limits are confined to the state. As long as I am capable of serving the people of the state, I will do so and try to unite the people.
There are many regional political parties in the country in various states. We are with CPI (M) and we will work with them,” he said. In our party there is no question of leader and workers.
