Udupi;Sept 16: Addressing the S O C journalism students in ‘Model Press conference’ organized for journalism students held on Sept 16,Monday, H K Patil,minister for rural development and Panchayatraj said in his address that we must try to build discord, distress ,unacceptable and debt free villages.
He further said that we have to build “Saathvik Samaj” and by providing basic facilities we have to improve the standard of life style of rural people. Pay attention towards toilets, hygiene, road connectivity and market places and rural people must consume pure drinking water, he added
Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development and district in charge, Pardesh Hireranga, SOC director, Dr Sudarshan Ballal were present.
