Mangalore, Sep 16: “The best of country’s talents are drained out as youth trek to other countries to build up their career”, said minister for rural development H K Patil.
In his inaugural speech on “Viveka Samsmarana” a series of programmes were organized by Ramakrishna Math on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on Monday, September 16 .
He further said that talent of nation is available for other countries and this will badly affect the economy. To overcome this, there is a need for youth to serve our country. Quoted the words of Swami Vivekananda, H.K. Patil said to the youth that, Vivekananda trusted in youth to build a strong nation, but the sad part is that we have not lived up to his expectations.
The future of our nation in your hands. Experiment your talents in our country rather than flying to other counties he added.
Swami Jithakamananda delivered key note address. Swami Veereshananda Saraswathi from Ramakrishnashram Tumkur, General manager of MRPL Sushil Chandra M, Pro. Raghotham Rao K, Tulsi Maddini, Devraj, director of SDM were present.
