Bantwal, August 20: A women killed and four people are injured in the truck and Auto Riksha collision at Veerakamba on August 19 Monday.
The deceased identified as Kusuma (56), resident of Kelinja and other passengers sustained serious injuries are Vishwanath, Jayanth, Harikrishna and auto rikshaw driver Yatin.
A source says that a truck laden with chickens was over speeding and eventually went out of control from its driver, which caused for the accident. Though Kusuma was immediately rushed to hospital, she was pronounced brought dead.
Truck driver has been arrested and Vittla police registered a case.
