Robbery and attack case : Konaje police arrested two accused

Mangalore, August 14: Konaje police have arrested two accused regarding the robbery and attack on savings collector, Kodakkal resident Narayan Bhat, which happened on last Wednesday.

The accused are identified as Muhammad Mansoor (18), resident of Boliyar, Mudipu and Abdul Sajid (18), resident of Ponnodi of Bantwal Taluk.

Kodakkal resident Narayana Bhat, working as a saving collector in Ammembala Bank from several years and after collecting the money he used to go back to his house. As usual, last Wednesday also at 11 pm he was moving to his house, however, two accused are blocked him by their Honda bike. They attacked on him and attempted for robbery.

Regarding the case when accused were in roaming suspiciously around Boliyar, they caught into police hand.

Sources say that the accused don’t have the identification of Bhat, but they were noticing his moving time. When they were attempted for robbery Narayan Bhat fluttered the blade, which injured the Sajidh’s face and hand. Accused are taken to police custody and further investigation is on.
