The technology has been proven to be useful in education. Children can access the web and get the detailed knowledge about any topics and help them to perform well in the academics.

Children can earn the competition skills, when they play Video games with their friends and relatives and this in turn help them compete with others in the real world.
Negative Impacts of Technology on Children
Health Problem:
According to the survey conducted from time to time confirmed that due to increased usage of gadgets, children are prone to be suffering from health related problems like back pain, weak eye sight, sleeplessness etc. Due to less physical activities, the fatness is common to see in today’s children.
Social Relationship:
Technological gadgets have posed a bad impact on social relationship. Since the children are busy operating and addicted to gadgets, they find hardly any time to sit with elders and spend some quality time with them. They prefer to connect with their friends and relatives via text messaging, chatting etc rather than meeting them personally. It indicates that they are connected with others in the virtual world but not in the real world.
Poor Academic Performance:
Technology has been found to have its negative impact on academic performance on most of children. There are many technological gadgets to which children are addicted. They waste their precious time on these silly gadgets without bothering about their studies. This is resulting in their poor academic performance.
Negative impact on character:
As all of us know, children are the biggest assets and future of our country, our world but growing technology menace has got a bigger role in spoiling the character of the children. The sad thing is that due to increasing technology, the children have been found going away from their moral values. Internet is working as curse for children’s character. Rather than using internet in productive and constructive manner, children are using it as source of adult content.
Negative impact on writing skills:
Writing is an art, which every person must own. Technology has its negative effects on writing skills of children. Standard English is not used in text messaging, chatting. While writing text messages, no one bothers about the spelling, punctuation and grammer.This in turn resulting in poor writing skills of the children.
Well it is quite clear that there are more bad impacts than the positive impacts of technology n children. In fact positive or negative effect of any particular thing depending on how we use it.By limiting the involvement of technology in children’s life, we can easily bring an end to all negative impacts.
