Mangaluru, December 31: Police commissioner of Mangaluru city, S Murugan has been transferred, said the sources.
The official transfer order is yet to be issued.
It is learnt that IPS officer M ChandraShekhar who is serving as joint commissioner of police in Bengaluru will be replacing Murugan. In January 2015, S. Murugan had taken charge as the police commissioner of Mangaluru.
But it is not yet known to which place Murugan has been transferred.
