Poojary said, in democracy, more importance and protection is given to legislature, executive, judiciary and press. These four pillars are very important for democracy to survive and they should be strong. Any government which is in power should know how to run the parliament. Important incidents that occur in the country should be discussed in the parliament and right decision must be taken. It is the government’s duty. If no actions are taken to resolve the issue, then democracy has no meaning.

He further said, people have raised the issue of intolerance. Despite the issue being raised in the parliament, no action has been taken. Who is spreading intolerance in the nation? The Cabinet ministers in your (BJP) government are spreading intolerance by delivering provocative speeches. In spite all of these, no actions have been taken, he charged.

Poojaary addressing himself to Prime Minister Modi, said, it was you and your party people who spoke about Congress-free nation. You want to wipe out the party which bought independence to the nation. We never spoke about RSS and BJP-free nation. You have misused Enforcement Directorate. Enforcement Directorate is below you and you removed its director because Subramanian Swamy insisted you to do so. He alone is sufficient to destroy your BJP, said Poojary.

Speaking about the controversial Yettinahole project, he said, still the local MP (Nalin Kumar Kateel) has not got time to raise the issue in parliament or to meet the union ministers. If you have to attack those who are in support of this project, it should be those two former chief ministers, said Poojary.
