Puttur, June 15: Two men expired and three were injured in a serial accident here on Sunday June 14th.
Sooryanarayana (64) and Gopinath (45), both residents of Bengaluru are the deceased.
It is gathered that while they were travelling in a Swift car from Bengaluru towards Puttur, the car skid, and hit a Hyundai i10 car, and then collided to another vehicle.
The identities of the three injured persons are yet to be ascertained. They have been admitted to hospital.
It is gathered that, Sooryanarayana and Gopinath were travelling to Puttur to attend a programme. It is not known if the injured persons were in their car or in the other vehicles.
It is learnt from sources that, the accident took place at a spot where road work is going on, which has been blamed as the cause for the mishap.
Puttur rural traffic police have registered a case.
